Letter From Fuzzy Niven

(Fuzzy is the nickname of Larry's wife Marilyn)
Larry got home form the hospital this afternoon (Sunday). He's doing well with his walker, but it's a slow way to get around. He's in a cast and will be for at least another week and a half.
The surgeon tells us this is the same injury suffered by former President Clinton, who took about six months to recover from it. The quadreceps was completely detached. Dr. Friedland drilled two holes in the knee cap to reattach it.
Larry can read his e-mail by my going upstairs and downloading it onto his laptop. We've unfortunately been unable to get the laptop to connect to Earthlink from one of the downstairs phonejacks, so answering his e-mail will be difficult.
