Posted on: Monday, January 29, 2001, 03:16 PM I have been hooed on LArry Niven since about 1970. I have all of Larry Niven's books and keep waiting for Ringworld: The Movie. If you are a new reader of Hard SciFi and like Larry, you will also like Bear, Benford, Brin, Shefield and Hamilton.

Posted on: Thursday, February 01, 2001, 12:01 PM I am a long-time Larry fan. I recently re-read World of Ptavvs, and am reading some stories from the Man-Kzin Wars books. I have read "Mote" and "Lucifer's Hammer at least twice. I am not a very good fan, though, as I have not kept up with Larry's current writing (except for "Rainbow Mars"). I enjoyed this website, and plan to return.

Posted on: Tuesday, March 27, 2001, 11:59 PM A good site for Larry Niven reference purposes - thanks. Came here to see if there was any summary of known errors in Ringworld trilogy, having just met a description of the Machine People licensing mines and buying ore in Ringworld Engineers. Duh! Larry! I thought the impossibility of a technological civilisation recovering from a fall due to lack of subsoil resources was a main plot theme!! Never mind - its all so good, that say "Dune series, Tolkien, Ringworld and Moties" and you have described all of imaginative fiction that is worth reading. Best wishes, and thanks for the site, Laurence

Posted on: Monday, April 16, 2001, 10:31 AM When I was living in the U. K. (1966-1977) some paperback publisher printed a "Ringworld" with the worst interpretation ever of the concept, on the cover; a ringworld not against the black of space, but against a bright blue sky, and with the alternating light and dark living surfaces on the OUTSIDE! If ever there's a pic that must be included in your gallery... Has anybody still got a copy?
